Exhilarating Trips Found in Outdoor Adventure club

By Alex Switzer, Torch Reporter
"Club without borders," said Mr. Jarrod Rackauskus, Adventure club leader. Adventure club is open to anyone that would like to participate and goes on many exciting adventures throughout the year.
There are three leaders and a president of this club. Mrs. Lisa Steve, Mr. Rackauskus, Mr. Josh Klokkenga, and the President Collin Miller.
Outdoor Adventure club is a small club that goes on many trips throughout the year with events ranging from hiking through state parks to going skiing in the winter.
"I think paintballing would be an exciting new trip to go on," said Mr. Klokkenga, co-founder of Adventure club.
In this club, the trips they go on are based on what the members want to do. It's very laid back. At meetings, members discuss what trips they should go on.
The first trip for this year's club will start in October. There will be an announcement soon on when the first official meeting will be held.
To go on the trips, students don't have to be a member of Adventure club. Sign up sheets are kept in the guidance office for upcoming events for anyone wanting to go.
A common trip for this club is going skiing all day up at Cascade Mountain. It's a reduced price and students can't beat shredding the slopes all day with some friends and fun leaders.
