Olympia’s Spartan Army Takes the Field

           Last year’s Blue Crew was full of good fun, activities, tailgating, and crazy fan sections proving Olympia has the best fans around; this year Olympia’s students have even more to prove.

         

 Blue Crew is Olympia’s own twist of your everyday fan section. Oly’s students attend as many sporting events as possible to support their fellow athletes.

 

Many Olympia students have made a personal vendetta to be recognized and known as the best student section in central Illinois. These students feel the need to not only spread school spirit at these games but also want to show their athletes that they have the student body cheering for them.

 

“The kids have been a lot of fun this year!, I just enjoy being there and getting to be apart of the activities,” Ms. Kirby, OHS Blue Crew Advisor.

 

Just as always OHS students have many things planned for events throughout this school year with the Blue Crew. Some of these plans have already been revealed, such as the student section themes for all football games.

 

            Above all students are always trying outdo others from previous homecoming festivities. Olympia’s Blue Crew is no exception to that fact. “ We have a lot planned for the Homecoming football game this year, you'll just have to wait and see,” Ethan Sebok, OHS Blue Crew Supporter.

“Blue Crew is a great way to show school spirit at all sporting events, I really look forward to seeing everyone out there supporting our sports teams,” Ethan Sebok, OHS Blue Crew Supporter.
